Porcelain is a material that’s typically featured for special occasions or passed down through generations, it is also sleek and modern.

The strength, acid resistance and ability to withstand sudden temperature change of porcelain makes it widely used for laboratory ware, tile and high heat situations.

I enjoy creating in porcelain because it is pure white, smooth, strong even when thin and translucent when thin. I do not use a potter’s wheel, all items are hand built in my home studio.
